I may be useless, but atleast I have a harley, not only the T-shirt, the jacket and the exhaust.
You know what? My wife plans on getting a new car soon. Should I already buy oil filters and air refreshers?

Well you are the one who sounds like you're 6. "At least I have a Harley" Geez.

I am going to buy my first Harley. Why is it so difficult for you to understand that I want to be prepared before I start riding? I don't want to go to the dealership, buy the Harley, bring it back to my house and then figure out that I need to buy this or that to be able to enjoy my first rides.

I'd be glad if you could spare me your stupid comments that do not help me, or anyone, here.

They do kinda have a point V.....wierd to be shopping pipes for a ride you dont even have yet. You never know, you might get a stupid deal on something totally different than what you think you want. Have you ever ridden a Harley?

And trust me, you dont NEED the pipes to enjoy the ride, they simply add to it.

Listen, darling,
It took years to most of us to get our bikes where they are now. And if you can't enjoy a ride on a stock HD, you wont enjoy it on a tricked out one either. You sound and act exactly like the guy in David allan Coes song "harley someday". My story, and I stick with it, is that it is completely retarded to buy parts for a bike that you don't have.
What is it all about to be prepared before you start riding? All you need is a flippin helmet, and, well, a motorcycle (keep that one as a secret, just between you and me). I ride since a long time, and I believe I have more miles dragging my bikes out of the parking spot then you have riding miles. I never, never ever bought some parts for a bike that I was planing to buy. That's kinda like buying ammo before you get the gun.
