Now, can you guys tell me how your powering these units. Is there an accessory pig tail available to plug in somewhere that the MoCo sells? Or would I need to also mount a 12V plug in on the handle bar? Fused or relay? Me and electronics aren't that compatible!

You can tap into the wiring harness as I did or like I did on my last bike was to run leads directly to the battery.

I am running a Zumo 450 with a RAM mount as well.

garmin nuvi 550 (waterproof, not motorcycle specific, and less than 1/2 the price) and a Ram mount. Don't have to worry about taking it off in the rain, and no more ziplocks. Get them refurbished from Garmin for under $200

Similar to Chet, except I used a Glisson cigarette female connected directly to the battery, and a standard Garmin cable from the Nuvi 760. Works great, and required no mod of hte Ram Mount.

I bought mine from these guys: http://www.gpsgeek.com/browse/gilsson-gps-cables

The direct wire to the battery and then routed up under the dash. Very easy to do – just pop the two bolts on the dash and it comes off with plenty of room underneath.

Some people prefer to have it wired to a switched power source. Lots of info on the board if you search, but these are the basics that you are getting here.

Oh, and seeing those cigarette lighter comments made me remember…..don’t just cut off the cigarette lighter adapter and wire directly – it’s got a voltage regulator or something in it that steps the voltage down for your GPS and it’ll fry it if you don’t wire it up right.

I found a wiring harness for mine with a regulator built inline that kept me from having a cigarette adapter hanging off my bike.

I bought a Tom Tom rider II from wall-mart on-line. It came with the handle bar quick disconnect mount, all the blue tooth speekers and mounts for helmet. I've had it for over a year now with a couple long trips(one coast to coast) and am totally satisfied. It is made for motorcycles completly shock and water proof and is cheaper then a garmin.
