Can anyone tell me if the Law Enforcment/Firefighter discount can be applied to all the 2010 FLHTCU or only the special editions bikes. Does anyone know what kind of discount is usally offered by H-D for this discount?

Seems some dealer give one on any bike, them some don't. gotta just ask....

 

I received about 10% off, but the dealer made half that back in shipping and set up fee's.

 

I didn't know there was a discount, is that from H-D or just certain dealers. I was told the Fire Fighter special edition was same $$$ as any solid color (other than black). The paint color and emblems was the only difference in the bikes. Had to be a current or retired FF (which I am) to buy one.

 

Special Edition bikes only at my dealer. Here it's $1500.00 off MSRP.

 

Up to the dealer. It pays to shop around.

 

I'm prolly gonna get flamed for this. But doesn't it seem a tad bit silly to expect a discount just for going to work every day and doing your job? Hell I work too. Were's my discount? Now gimme a second yall. I gotta put on my fireproof under roos

 

Expecting a discount and being offered a discount are two different things.....Anybody that wants this kind of discount is free to fill out a job application or be a volunteer if your community has 'em.

 

I couldn't agree more. I didn't even know they did it until we were in the negotiation phase, I just knew I wanted a POSE. When they told me about the discount I was thrilled!
