2009 Road King Mufflers
I would like to upgrade my road king for a better sound but do not want to do the remapping, air cleaner upgrade, due to cost. I was thinking about the rinehart 1 3/4 slip ons. does anyone outthere have the same situation and what are your thoughts.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Probably going to get a lot of responses to use the search function, as there are a million answers to this particular question already on the forum.
That said, if all you change is the slip-ons on your Road King, then you will very likely not require anything else (Air Cleaner or Tuner). I very much liked the the Supertrapp SE slip ons that I put on my 2007 Road King Custom. Not too loud, good tone.

Well, it's your bike but I'd rethink that myself. You bike runs lean as it is, that would make it worse. The mistake most make is not making sure everything is compatible. Late models have a heat problem as it is. jmo
