Looking at the Chinese imitation stuff, it LOOKS just like quality stuff until you find out the hard way that it's cheap cast metal (we used to call it "pot" metal years ago). You get what you pay for.
Most of the time I agree - but having first-hand experience with this particular unit, I must disagree. It is up to the job structurally. It handles an Ultra with no signs of stress. I expected to have to replace the ram by now, but it's still working perfectly. No leaks, either. Of course, it's not Chinese imitation - it's genuine Chinese!

I strongly suspect most of the "American" units use imported rams.

Do a Google search for Harbor Freight motorcycle table lift - there are a lot of them out there, and I have yet to find a single failure.

I saw a Pitbull demoed when I was at Biketoberfest last year. I finally broke down and bought one. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I buy and sell bikes mostly Harleys some Brit, some metric and the Pitbull handles them all. I used to NEVER leave a bike up in air, even if just going in house to grab some coffee. Now, leave em overnight. You will be very happy with it.
It is one strudy sumbitch

No. But it 'looks' better than the Fat Jack. I like the idea of the 'cradle stand offs'
Thanx for postin' that.

Yep, it came with my lift table. Only issue I've had with it is that even the short post are just a little too tall to get under my wifes bike (Honda VTX 1300). They slide right off so I remove them.
It is built heavier than similar jacks I've seen and has a nice wide base.

I use a Pro-cycle Droptail XLT I purchased from www.derekweaver.com. After using several Handy lifts the Pro-cycle is way superior. Price is reasonable also.
