REVIEW: Hand Kind Hand Cleaner
Hand Kind is a new HDF sponsor who offerd a free sample of his new hand cleaner to a limited number of HDF members in return for an honest evaluation and review of his product. I got a free sample and have been using it now for over a week and a half.
I am a machinist by trade and my job brings me into contact with many harsh cutting, cooling and cleaning fluids including but not limited to sulfer based and water based cutting fluids, hydraulic fluids and degreasers. Needless to say I am constantly washing my hands. I have used everything from petroleum based hand cleaners to Lava soap and Boraxo, Boraxo being my favorite.
Since using the Hand Kind hand cleaner, I have found this to be an exceptional product. Its gritty texture from crushed walnut shells works very well to grind out the most embedded dirt and grease/oils. It's certainly not a one time washing agent but I have never found a hand cleaner that did it all on the first try when confronted with really dirty hands. But for the most part it does it's job on the first try.
The biggest plusses to using this product are many. A small amount is all that is needed to work up a lather. It doesn't dry out your hands but actually helps with dry skin problems associated with constant washing. It has a pleasant orange citrus smell which is a big improvement over the petroleum based cleaners and the biggest plus of all is that I don't have to wash my hands again after using the petroleum based hand cleaners in order to get that smell off of my hands. Do I like the product? Yeah I guess you can say that I do. Would I recommend its use? Absolutely. I just hope that I can find this stuff when my current sample is gone.

Hand Kind is great. I'm thinking if it can't be found around here it would be worth mail ordering it.
