Laughlin River Run

I'm thinking I read something about a large number of LEO's stopping people and writing them up for a lot of petty BS out there last year? I could be wrong and thinkin' of the wrong place?

Right place wrong year. The casino owners got together with the head honcho's in the police departments and "asked" them to cool it with the harassment. Hopefully there will just be a presence this year too with no harassment.

How is stopping violators who violate traffic (or criminal) statutes "harassment"? As for feeding the creatures in Oatman, I was thinking I had read something a while back that said the game and fish folks don't want anyone to feed any of them, baby or otherwise. Something about the wild ones in the desert being more healthy than the handfed ones.

You need to start checking out hotels.com or one of the others. I booked a room at the Golden Nugget: thurs., fri. & sat. nite for $165 total. Not bad considering the bad economy. Peace.

The LEOs have really calmed down alot. Especially the last 3 years. If you're cool, they'll be cool.
Rooms are really cheap, compared to the last 6-8 years anyways. Last year,I don't think any casino sold out. You could come in off the street and get a room and with out the mandatory 3 night minimum. Probably gonna be the same this year.
As for they Harley slots, we haven't had that since around the time the New Owners took over my work about 3 years ago, sorry.
We welcome all Bike riders, especially the ones with fat wallets!

I'm going! Never been. Coming from east side of Kansas, if weather permits we are going through Colorado, Utah, Vegas and on to Laughlin and on the way back go through Arizona, New Mexico Oklahoma and on up to Kansas City.

I'm going, went last year didn't look for any trouble with the LEO's and didn't find any.
I didn't worry about hotel rates. I roughed it! Packed a one man tent, sleeping bag and stayed at Katherine's Landing Lake Mohave Space #7
Took the pick below at a rest area just outside Wickenburg AZ
Single site Camping
Site capacity maximum is eight persons, four tents and two motorized vehicles (e.g., one camping unit and a towed vehicle) per site. Four motorcycles may occupy a site.
Campground fees are $10 per site plus $5 vehicle park entrance. Made it $10 a day each for my buddy and myself.

On the Arizona side just 8 miles from Laughlin.
This is a desert area even though it's on the river bring shade if ya need it. Last year we had 90 degree days! I didn't worry about shade, left camp early before the heat and returned in the afternoon after it started to cool.
