Cool

I have three leather jackets all HD. They are all good quality.

1 FXRG with pocket system

2 FXRG perforated

3 Just a regular leather jacket with no insulation.

I have the FXRG jacket that I (luckily) paid $300 for. I'm not convinced it's worth the over $600 at retail.

Motorcycle jackets run a vast range of prices.

LeatherUp - $100-$200
HD branded - $250- $600
Fox Creek - $350-$600
Vanson - $600-$800
Schott - $600-$900
Langlitz - $950-over $1500

1- HD Spoiler leather jacket Lightweight with a removable liner and body armor pockets.
1- Hot Leathers heavy duty with removable liner. It's like wearing body armor!

My Vanson is starting to get some nice wear and patina to it after several months of use. They soften up nicely.

One day, it might end up looking like my old Perfecto:

Neither of these jackets cost me the prices listed above. I got them off Ebay for hundreds less. The Perfecto obviously used. haha. And the Vanson, new old stock.

Foxcreek for me also! I wear their Classic II and it's American made, 1.4- 1.6mm thick naked leather. The jackets look great and are soft as butter. They are built for to provide protection first and fashion 2nd. Customer service has always been outstanding.

My vote for bestest goes to Z Leathers http://www.zcustom.com/ Not cheap, but custom taylored, well ventilated and built to last. I slid my forearm on pavement for what seemed like 50 yards and barely scratched the coloring on the sleeve! I only wish I'd been wearing their pants at the time
