CVO Road King. Good Price??
I found a 2008 Screamin Eagle Road King for sale for $30,000 CDN. Bike has 550 kms (342 miles) on it. All the factory updates have been done, never been dropped or crashed. Is 30K a good price??

They were $29,200 US new in 2008. He's asking $27,900 in US dollars so he knocked off $1500. Even though it's low mileage, in my opinion that's still too high for an almost 3 year old bike. I'd offer $24,500 and go from there. In this economy he's not going to get many offers.

$30k is paying absolute top dollar if this were a booming economy, but in this economy it is extremely high.
KBB trade-in value is only about $20K
then there's wholesale $25k ish
If a dealer has it, they probably don't have $20k in it.

Check ebay, lots of low mileage bikes available, much less expensive and like new. Feel you can do way better, there are some beautiful bikes with less than 4000 miles on them. Importing is easy, just a little paperwork but simple. Our local prices don't even command those kinds of numbers. Check around, autotrader, Kijiji etc. Good luck.

I love mine but new it was only $29,000, and that included some modifications. Talk the price down. It is a great bike. Comfortable fast ride. I have 34k on it now and it is smooth as silk. Had to have pistons & cylinders replaced at 20k, all covered under warrenty. One bad thing, that HD fixed in 09, is that the left pipe comes out the side not under the engine. If you have long legs no problem.
