Default new bike or car stopper (prototype)

soon you'll no longer be able to outrun the law either in a car or on a crotch rocket.

Law enforcement agencies/departments should have Marine Snipers available 24/7!
Currently available for air or ground deployment!!
Equip every news/PD air unit with one at all times!!

Squad cars could have RPG's mounted in the grill.
Much safer, quicker that the "PIT" maneuver. Less collateral damage!
This would make the criminals think twice about running, car jacking or whatever motor vehicle infraction they may entertain.
Employing the proper timimg techniques for assault deployment would be the only subjective factor in the deal!
Ride safe

Yeah should save millions of tax payer money putting front ends on Crown Vics and Keep the dumb cops from pitting the bad guys and spinning them into an innocent persons vehicle. I have seen bad pit maneuvers that the cops should have been reprimanded for. Putting people at risk in the general public.

My only concern is the collateral damage to the vehicle. I'd bet it fry's the brain or worse as when they turned it on not just the engine dyed but the whole electrical system went down. I bet the insurance companies wont allow the use but in the most extreme cases

I dont see it having much of an effect on carbureted motorcycles as they have no computer to cause a disturbance to, and I dont see an EM pulse disrupting 50,000 volt charge from getting to the plug.

If you put yourself in a position to cause the cops to use that thing, I doubt the insurance companies are gonna pay for any repair. I'm not an insurance expert, but I think if you wreck your car running from the police ( using vehicle in an unlawful manner), the insurance company would probably have a clause to deny any claim as well. Just like a vehicle is not covered if being used at a race track, etc. etc.

Big brother will just mandate the use of an "On star" like system. A radio frequency detector in the cop car will give them the exact vehicle code.

They will be able to shut the vehicle down remotely.

Plus it will be the consumer that pays the cost.

GPS is getting so cheap it will be included in every vehicle soon anyways.

Yeah but the system shown appears to shut down everything in the vehicle immediatley. This in itself can be dangerous if you loose the steering and everything at once. Not concerned about the criminal but any innocent civilians nearby........
