Is this a record?

RE: Is this a record?
There is an old timer here in town who rides a Heritage softtail Classic (2nd one since I've seen him around) and puts 25000 miles a year. Two years ago he rode to his 50th college reunion in CT (from FL) and 2 mos. later rode back for his younger sister's 70th birthday.
He's a little bowlegged and bent but he rides all the time. He is a true inspiration to all who meet him.
Goes to show there is no reason to quit.

RE: Is this a record?
Right after my previous post I took a break for breakfast and a glance at the paper.
In the local section was a blip about a 72 yr. old man crashing his HARLEY into the back of a Jeep in Englewood, Fl. Apparently he swervede to try to get around the stopped Jeep. I thought, "wow this is something, just like the forum post".
Then I finished the story and learned the motorcyle rider had been drinking!!
I s'pose there's a moral in here somewhere!! Ride old-drink at home?
