I've been riding for 11 years now. When I first started, every bike you passed, no matter what it was, or what you were on, the rider would put their hand out. The famous wave, but not really a wave, that we're all used to. I've noticed in the last couple years though, especially this year, that very few people do it anymore. Is it just me, or where I'm riding? I passed probably an easy 75-100 bikes this week on my trip to TN. I'd say less than 25% waved. I don't guess I care one way or the other, just something I kinda noticed. Anyone else seen that effect?

 

Nah, most cruisers wave

 

ppl mostly wave here....but then again Ms is the hospitality state.....its the law you gotta wave

 

Maybe to you, grunt and eddybo69. I don't wave first anymore, but I always wave in return.

Seems most wave here too!! Harleys, metrics,bicycles, mopeds , guy on a hum around thing! It's all good!!

 

Most ppl in Louisiana wave.

 

I would say most people wave. Every metric rider I wave to waves back. Occasionally a harley rider won't wave back.
