Most bikers wave here in Northeastern PA. Two fingers to/from V-twin types, open hand to/from others. Crotch rocket types wave unless they're flying too fast.

I wave at everyone, unless I didn't see them.

Hey, if I patent a foam hand that pops out of the saddle bag and waves when you push a button, do yall think folks would buy it? We could market as a safety device. "Keep both hands on the bars with WONDER WAVE". Of course, we could also have the one fingered option for use in emergency situations. Only 49.95, whatcha think?[sm=confused06.gif]

Same here. But then again, I used to own a BMW.

I'm inclined to think they're new riders afraid to take they're hand off the bars. I always wave. Or nod if traffics heavy. If yhere's anyone on the forum who does'nt wave, let us here from you and why you don't.

By the way, I always stop and offer help to a fellow rider.

Do people that own the same type of cars/trucks wave to each other?
Jeep Wrangler drivers do - it's a Jeep thing

I usually wave and always return a wave even if it's a bicycle. I've had cops wave at me. Truckers and the odd cage(then you notice the Harley sticker in his rear window)
Crotchers usually wave but usually a couple of fingers on the left hand which is sometimes hard to see.
If someone does not wave it's usually a Harley.
