You got a bunch of BMW riders in your area?
Even the Gold Wing guys say BMW riders are weird.

in the dallas tx area most cruisers and harleys will wave. people riding crotch rockets never will.
If you are in the dallas tx area and wave at a big guy on a blue ultra and he does not wave back it's ok I am just watching the traffic. consider yourself waved at

I wave no matter what. Awesome eddybo69! I also will say atomic is correct that the very few riders here in my state that don't wave do happen to be harley riders.

I don't wave at other bikers. It's tiring, it's unnecessary, and it's overplayed. If they wave at me maybe I'll acknowledge by just raising my fingers on the left grip.
I'm just not into the waving thing. Never have been.
What I'm fascinated by is that so many riders get offended when other don't wave at them. Geez, just ride on and don't worry about it. It's nothing personal. It's just some people aren't into waving at everyone on two wheels. It's hokey. There, I've said it.
"I wave at everyone!" That's great. We'll use you on the next parade float.

In the Tucson area everyone pretty much waves. I think the more bikes in the area, the less exclusive they are and the more likely that waving will diminish. Example: You don't see much waving at a HOG Rally..

There's still a lot of waving here in the Houston area. Most of it from my wife. Put her on the back and she waves at everyone and everything. Thinks she's some kinda goodwill ambassador or something. But as long as she's happy I know I won't be gettin' nagged.
