There towing service "SUCKS" at least on Long Island. Got blasted a few years ago on my sporty, while the girl on the phone tried her best to get me help. She could not get anyone to come unless it was CASH only up front.

I don't think I'll renew this year. Been a member for quite a few years, and I don't think it's really worth it. Pretty much an expensive map like someone else said in the other HOG thread.
My insurance already has towing on it.

Definitely not for everyone. As mentioned the towing is nice to have... If you travel, you can earn discounts at Best Western Motels. H.O.G. will credit you up to $50 each year for successfully passing a certified rider's course (which would pay for your next year's membership)... This month they will be offering a 17% monthly discount with AT&T wireless... So, if you can take advantage of some of the benefits, it more than pays for itself...

I would like to find anyone that has an Atlas that has all of the Harley dealers and maps to them listed in the book.
If you ever go anywhere away from home on your Harley, it is nice to have.

As far as towing, I am a Premer AAA member with towing for anything I drive/ride, so I will not use the HOG towing.

Used the towing service last year once and it worked well, we live out in the desert. Like the Atlas and the qtr'ly mag.

Pins and patches are piled on the workbench, local dealer has a different loyalty program with nothing to do with HOG. Do not belong to local but not against it.....just never seem to have time to check it out.

No real bang for the $buck but I plan to keep it up.
