Default I bought one

Hi,
I bought a sportster 48. And I sold my 2000 FXSTD shortly thereafter. I was actually ready to have a smaller bike that you could whip around town on, plus chrome is dead. Billet is dead.

the ongoing project record is at: http://www.therosshallproject.blogspot.com

I got up close and personal with a 48 today. Sits nice, it's light and feels like it would be pretty nimble. The more I looked at it the more I liked it but wouldn't pay over $10K for one. The small tank looks right on the bike but is too small in capacity. We went on a 50 mile or so round trip ride today and 2 miles out of town on the way back home the 48 had to turn around and go back for gas. No problem since we weren't in any hurry but since I gotta fill up my FXD way to often that small tank wouldn't work for me.
