New 2010 Sportster "48" model

If I was about 16, I would probably really like that Sporty. Now though, I'm not really too crazy about it . However, I'm sure that the MOCO didn't have ME in mind when they decided to build it.

Looks bad *** to me. The front tire is awesome. Saw a couple people on forums that have done that to their nighty already. Also glad they got rid of the front gators. I always thought the front end of sportsters needed beefing up anyway.

I kind of dig it, but there is a special place in my heart for all sportsters. I will say that having a 2.1 gallon tank and a 1200cc motor sucking down the juice, I wouldn't plan any cross country rides through the desserts out here! Unless you are really good at planning fuel stops and calculating your mileage.

I own an Iron and am perplexed by this bike. I'm not really sure how this bike is supposed to differentiate itself from the Iron or the Nightster. Also don't get the 2.1 gallon tank. I think it looks cool though. Glad they finally placed the mirrors underneath. I had to do the same thing since they are useless on top. It's funny how that's a selling point, it's a no-cost change to the bike. The MSRP is listed for nearly $1K more than a nightster. Same price gets you an XR1200.

I think the MoCo is going the wrong way with this...2.1 gallon tank, fat front tire looks out of place...Should have done something for the larger market (Touring) instead of a bar hopper that they have several existing models for that!!!
