Wife and I made that trip last Aug. The temp on the Skyway was 61* in the afternoon. One of the most beautiful rides we have been on. Thanks for posting.

Nice pics. I was up there last June. Middle of the week and later in the day is the best time to go during the warmer months. Crowded on weekends.

nice pictures my wife and i rode thru there back in june. my dad lives in canton georgia so we rode up from there. plan to go down again this summer.

Well not technically if you count the dragon as just the 318 curves. But that is US129 on the NC side at the bottom of the mountain right before you start hitting some serious curves. A mile up the road from the bridge is the Deals gap motel. I have passed several trucks on that bridge going both ways as it is the last straight section for 11+ miles.
