Great pics Chet. I'll bet you needed to replace your seat after riding the Skyway on that black ice. It's a wonderful ride during the summer but can be cool even then.

Im surprised the skyway was open,Last time we went in jan,the parkway was closed.And youre awfull lucky you were thw only one out there.Last time we rode the dragon we done in sept,during the cherokee rally and the sportbike riders were absolutley outta control.They were more dangerous than the big trucks.Great pics by the way,i love the mountians.

when theres snow on the moutains and near dark and your ridein solo, that Cherohala is one lonely streach of road aint it....
its one of them times when your brain asks ya man what the hell you doing up in here, and a minete later your soul answers just ridein man just rideing........

 

That is great riding. Wife and I have ridden there several times. Last trip was in mist, fog and could not see 50' in front...still had a blast!
