At least the discussion of "wazoo's" diverted some attention from one more unnecessary chaps/leather pants debacle...

 

I got full-legged zippered crotchless chaps from a western store and love 'em. What you do in the really cold rides is wear 2 pair of underwear to make the difference.
I got wet and thought to take my heat gun and sno-seal them. Worked so well I did my gloves, then my leathers...damn, every time they touch the bike I get WAX on it now! But at least I'm probably waterproof as fish fins.

 

If i need more coverage than my chaps i use my ski pants or rain pants or both...

 

I wear Columbia Titanium windproof thermals. Nobody can see them, and everyone looks and says "look at that crazy mf with just jeans on"
