The best thing to do (if you are there) is to stop in jammin leathers store in Myrtle Bch to try the stuff on. The sizing is usually way off. They send me a catalog, I couldn't imagine ANYONE wearing some of the crap they put in there.

I've found that in really cold weather, some good fleece long johns, then leather pants, and chaps on top seem to do the trick for me. It's not necessarily an either or situation, it might be BOTH!

I use leather pants made by Langlitz.

Personally never makes since to wear chaps because your wazoo is exposed.

I have the Fox Creek leather pants, and I like them. Ordered using their size chart and first pair fit great (wife's pair did too). Pockets in them are configured just like a pair of jeans, so everything can be stored normally. Best part, I can get them on and off by myself and I don't bend well anymore!

Is that wazoo cover available in colors? I'd really prefer something with a striking contrast , like a bright red with my black leather chaps..... Ithink tha would just look fabuloussssssss!

The other side of the spectrum wearing leather pants, you might start out needing them then the temp climbs and they are hot.The wife and I both had them, sold them shortly after.Chaps for us.PS If you do not want any kids,do not let the lady wear them,Man ladies in leather is hard to stay civilized

They make leather overpants that are to be worn over jeans. I have a pair and they work great. They have full length zippers down each leg to make them easy to get on & off and for ventilation if it gets to warm. I got mine from JAFRUM and they were about $80. JAFRUM has a good exchange policy if you get the wrong size. I suggest at least one size larger than you normal pants size to start.

I think I got this figured out....you want to go from assless chaps to assfull pants to cover the wazoo. Keep the chaps and make sure your passenger understands where the "grab rail" is. That should at least keep your mind off any cold. Or....contact the assless chap makers and ask for the spare material that was cut out.
Seriously though, Foxcreek has great products and fantastic service. USA leather made from USA cows. Can't ask for more.
