Hello friends. Looking for someone that can shed some light on why it is told that " fork braces will not work with chrome lowers", when all chrome lowers are is stock lowers that have been plated. The plating can't add but a thousandths or two to the thickness. I have an 06XL, and an 08 FXSTC both with chrome lowers and would like to add fork braces. What I read says they are generally woth it if you like riding the twisties Thanks fellas.
