For $4K you can't go wrong IMO.
Think of it this way. Guys (me included) will buy a brand new bike and take off brand new parts to get it looking the way we want. Half the time those brand new take-off parts sit in the garage serving as expensive dust collectors. If you replaced every piece and part of your new scooter, you're way ahead of most of us with regards to $$$. AND, it'll probably look every bit as ice in the end.

I'd ride it as is myself as well. I think those types of bikes (and we all see them everywhere) are far more interesting than the other basic harleys you see.

I've always loved having an "A" and "B" bike. One for the fun, the other for the grunt work of simple transportation and foul weather. That bike looks like a real rider. Don't have to keep it super clean and polished. Just ride it! That's what it's all about.
