My wife asked me about getting a taller sissy bar on my bike. I photoshopped one in and wasn't sure I liked it. What I'd really like to do is the one piece king/queen seat & tall sissy bar all in one. If I did that, I'd want to hack the neck, add more rake, extend the forks a little, maybe 6"-8"...

One of my favorite looking bikes of all time is the bike in Mann's Ghost Rider. I think that's the look I have in mind as I do things to my WG.

Um..that is an--ahem--interesting bike, but it's clearly no rat bike.

Agree with Gonzee: rat bikes just happen. You can't fake time.

How about this from Zero Engineering?

Hey Judge, I have always like the old school look. Go to our web site and look at the blk and red bobber we did. I've been told it's pretty cool

Check our the mag Dice. Lot of good bikes in there and different companies to find part from. I am taking my bike the bobber route but it is and will take time. Since i am relativly young in the scene (29 and been riding less than a year), one thing I have learned in this as well as most things in life is to ask the old timers since they have been there and done that and can help me avoid some of the lessons they learned the hard way on what to do with your scoot.
