My local chapter is a partying bunch and do a lot of good too. For me it is worth the money and then some. I have been to HOG meetings at other chapters that were quite dull. I'd quit too. If ya don't like what they are doing get involved and change it.

yes, thats normal for a beer in a sports arena. but if you go to your local pub, it isn't so bad. my local vfw has michelob amber bock on tap for 1.25. can't beat that.

My mv insurance does not offer mc towing so the membership is worth it to me. Unless I could get the coverage otherwise looks like I'm staying.

Having bought a 2010 Limited in October, the purchase included a year membership... Just got my packet this past week and there are actually quite a few benefits other than the magazine and Roadside Assistance. One that caught my eye was a $50 tuition reimbursement for completion of an accredited rider's course. (one course/year)... Comes in the form of a coupon that can be used for future membership dues or "genuine Harley Davidson merchandise"...

Its about the same here in the Uk, However I get recovery from my Bike insurance and my bank, seem's I have recovery coming out of my ears at the moment. I got my membership when I bought my Fat Boy, but as has been mentioned I cant see any benifit other than a map and a document case, plenty going on elsewhere than in the UK. Its a good thing I tend to like doing my own thing realy.
