i mostly just wear a pair of black sunglasses with lenses big enough to deflect any air around my eyes instead of letting air into my eyes.
never had a problem with air getting in.
i have a pair of goggles (off the top of my head no idea what brand they are) for when it gets real cold or when i go on any sort of extended ride, as having sunglasses pressing down on top of your ears for a few hours gives a pretty bad headache.

I bought a pair of the 30 dollar MoCo sunglasses that have the foam to keep my eyes from drying out with my contacts. The foam on these glasses, however, has compressed (I guess that is what you'd call it). So, they're allowing air through and my eyes are getting really dry when I ride. My bike is my daily driver for the most part, so I need to be able to see when I ride. 
I'm looking for opinions from people with contacts that have used a type of goggles/sunglasses that work well and don't let the air dry out my contacts. I'm not looking to spend over $100 or so unless the overall reaction points toward a pair of more expensive eyewear. Any help or advice you can give is appreciated!

Wiley X SG-1 Tactical glasses. I have been using these for 10 years now and wouldn't be without them. I like the interchangeable lenses and the temples are interchangeable so you can wear them as glasses with the temples or with a strap as a goggle. Some will say they are pricey but they are bulletproof. I have had the same pair for 10 years! You can find deals on E-Bay.

After years of wearing Oakleys...I was looking for something a bit cheaper.
I've been using these NRA glasses. Several lenses, earpieces and strap, cheap and allegedly they protect your eyes
They do wrap around a bit more than most. the NRA store also has some that have the foam.

Northern Safety (one of the biggest safety shops on the Internet) has tons of cheap (under $10) safety glasses, in all kinds of styles and tints. Many of these are great for riding, and don't let air in...and some are very stylish to match.
