I picked out my 2010 RG on Monday. The dealer told me that it would be in sometime in the next two weeks. I was ok with that until I realized that it was gonna be damn near 50 degrees here this weekend. Then the dealer calls me today and says...Your bike should be in today, come down and finalize the paperwork and by the time we are done, your bike should be ready. Now at this point is where I get excited. Traded my Fatty in on Monday. I get there and we go in the back to look at her...she isn't there. It didn't come on this truck. WTF!!! Now, no Fatty, no RG...nothing but paperwork. Then they had the ***** to ask me if I wanted to ring the "new purchase" bell and spin the wheel for a door prize...no thanks, I will just go home and sulk LOL...Felt like a little bitch ...Thanks for lettin me vent

Congrats on the new Roadie. I know it sux to have to wait, but just knowing she'll be here soon has to be great. You know, I had an experience similar to yours when I bought my first Harley. Two different times, I was told "I'm possitive yours is on the next truck coming." Told me the date of the next truck so I put in for vacation on that same week. Well, guess what? It wasn't on that truck either. I was pissed. I told the owner that I had wasted a vacation because she obviously didn't know what she was talking about. She had the gall to say to me, well, you're just going to have to take another vacation then. I was livid! I told her to give me back my grand I had put down and that I would never do business there again. I ended up getting a better deal at a closer dealership. That was seven years ago and it still gets my goat a little bit. Sorry.
