Saw Megadeth a couple of times... favorite album is Rust In Peace. Favorite song is Wake up Dead but I must say that the Endgame disk is very cool. HeadCrusher is great... reminds me of the old old Megadeth.

Grew up listening to Megadeth and Metallca! Huge part of my life! Saw each a ton of times too! Rust In Peace for the album, 502 for the song! Who care about their personalities? I'm not gong ro be friends with them, just like their product. A lot!!!

[QUOTE=osirisdean;6097612]totally agree, could not have said it better myself. i like megadeth's music well enough (have 7 albums), but whenever i lisyten to them i always feel like i could be listening to something... better. both in aural pleasantness and technical proficiency, there are infinitely better bands out there and id just rather listen to them instead. i know the purists will say Megadeth were one of the original 4 slash metal bands, but ive always just seen them as Metallica Jr.
maybe im becoming desensitized to what i used to think was "heavy" but i feel like now my tastes are more suited for much more aggressive stuff. dark tranquility, killswitch engage (whose latest album was somewhat disappointing), soilwork, in flames, and the like. all great riding/driving music, IMO.
i better shut myself up now, i can talk music all day. [/ QUOTE]
Ya, same here. Like k.e., all that remains, as I lay dying...
