Shipping can't cost that much, and it is standard with most companies that you pay it.

Unless I missed the post, I never did see a response on where you purchased it and why you can't take it back to the same place.

You've wasted a lot of anger over pennies.

In Beaufort, S.C., the "Best Buy" is very good about accepting returns (with the reciept). Broken packaging included. No BS policy. Ned

I've never had to return a map for warranty work either.

Neither the wife or I have a cell phone either. Really don't see the need.

I guess that's the different buying on-line vs. local retail store. Yes, you pay more at local retail store, but when it comes to returning/exchanging products, as long as you got a receipt, piece of cake.

You saved some coins buying on-line, getting the best price, etc, sometimes I wonder is the aggravation such as this worth it?

Just saying.....

It's been very worth it for me, for several years.

How much can it possibly cost him to send it back? (vs the higher price of buying in store). Still a bargain!

Why a $600 gps? Wouldn't a cheap Nuvi 205W be adequate for most riders needing directions
That's what I was thinking. I paid 89 bucks for my Garmin 205 and it works perfectly...that included the mount. And shipping.
