Go to an outdoor store which handles fishing waders and get some of the Hodgman Pants Garters. They are about 2" wide and made of neoprene with velcro at the ends. One size fits all.
I use these everyday when I'm in my work pants and boots, otherwise I also get the "over-the-knee" thing going on. I keep a pair of "business casual" shoes at work to change into.
You might find them at Wally World, but if not here is a link to the Bass Pro Shop... At $3.95, order 2 sets. However, they will last you... Mine are on their second summer and going strong.
