I went to the Auto Parts store, Orielly and got a H4 Star white bulb. It was about 35.00

It makes yer headlight real bright. People in front of you during the daytime will even say its bright.

 

The 4 led is all you need.

 

Thanks everyone for the comments. I went to the local HD dealer who has a BAL on display. It is the 4 LED version. WOW, is it bright. Person at the parts counter (where it is displayed) says it is the brightest tail-light he has seen. I asked if he has seen the 12 LED version. Response was no, and that it may just be so bright that it could temp blind the person behind you. Now I doubt that (I think), but certainly the 4 LED version is the way I am going to go. Just need to wait until late March when I can get my bike out of winter-storage.
