Default Wiley X transition lenses

Hey, I'm on my 3rd pair of JP-2 transition lense sunglasses from Wiley X. The first two never really TRANSITIONED to a sunglass (just a slight yellow tint). My current pair transitioned for a few months and now do not anymore. I'm pissed off. I've returned them to wiley and paid shipping two times now. Is there anyone else with this issue.

Nope. Bought two of the $15 MC glasses advertised on this site. One clear and one tinted. They really are the best damn MC glasses I have ever owned.

i have the panoptx. they darken to the point you can't see my eyes, but when riding into the sun on a bright day they need to be darker. other than that they are great.

I just rode my trip with Willey X and I will never buy another pair, they are overated, not airtight, and fit funny.

Thanks for your imput. I noticed them the other day and I thought that they would be cool to have, 2 glasses in one. I guess that I will just keep my Airfoil goggles, they only cost me $30 and they are very comfortable on my face. I might have to buy a clear pair for nite driving, but I don't really ride at nite that much.

I was on the phone again with Wiley X about this and they are treating me very well so far with their exchange policy. They are willing to let me try to do a swap at the dealer I bought them from. I like the glasses (style, comfort, durability) but they just won't adjust to the light. Looks like I'll be flipping my lenses out from now on which sucks cause now I have to get that tool bag I've been holding off on to carry them.

i have the panoptx as well, and i agree, they darken nicely, but not enough in direct sun. but, i will say, the polarizing is great at night.
i wear Rx glasses, for mild farsightedness, with the pans on, i dont need them. they are great for me at night. take away all the glare and halo's from street lights

I had the Wiley-X transition lenses. I use them once and then returned them. They never got dark enough. Just light grey. I'd been using the XL-1 prior to trying the light adjusting and I went back to them.
