My buddy bought this light kit: 69851-06 at a swap meet for 40 bucks. but was missing the outer chrome trim ring.. Anyone know where I can just find the trim ring by itself for sale? all help appreciated.

There are probably other choices offered by aftermarket companies also. If you don't wish to purchase from this store/shop you can get the part number and shop others. Here are three choices...

I appreciate that advice.. however what I'm looking for is the outer trim ring to a bullet headlamp. It doesn't have a screw to tighten that goes over the outer lip of the light.. but actually screws into the headlamp itself... ie.. there are threads showing on my buddy's headlight.. the 4.5 inch outer trim ring is a simple circle o chrome that screws right into that...

I am familiar with the aftermarket stuff that just pops right in... but i'm looking for a particular piece with this setup. like the headlight in this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ght-apart.html

According to what I found when I searched for the part number, that headlight assembly does not give seperate part numbers and is sold as a unit. Unless you can find some one who is selling another I couldn't imagine where you would get just the bezel (trim ring) from...
