I am not a fan of throttle locks, but this one looks ok with the brake release, but at $219.00, Ithink I will pass.

Hds have throttle friction adjusters that work fine for me. When I ride w/others that are on metrics they always wanty to know how I can ride and take my hand off the throttle.

Sorry, no personal experience with the one in question, but I do have experience with a couple of others.

Throttle Tender - Decent inexpensive way to lock the throttle on the straights. I use one on my Softail. I have it turned to the inside of the throttle cables since I don't use it often.

SAC Cruise Control Grips - My personal favorite. Easy to use, holds the throttle, and looks good. I use this one on my EG.

I have the Breakaway and liked it much better than the standard throttle lock screw. However, I switched to Kuryakyn ISO grips and the Breakaway wouldn't fit. It wasn't quite as expensive when my GF bought it for me.

Have you looked at Kuryakyn's Electro-Magnetic Cruise Assist. Might work better.

I had the break-away on my Roadstar and really liked it. It is very clean looking installed. I installed the Kury electro magnetic on my wifes Deluxe and she loves it. The only thing with the Kury is it takes up quite a bit of room. You either have to get turn button extensions or reach for the turn buttons

Got mine for Xmas and install was pretty easy, used dish soap and it slid right over my Kuryakan grips, with a little pushin. so far so good, it locks on desired speed and press the release or hit the brakes and it releases. I'd give it a thumbs up, only part is it won't hold the speed on upward slope.
