and yet I'd NEVER buy BUB again....less than 6 months and they looked like crap with the chrome discoloring, pitting, flaking and scaling.

Consistant quality...V&H or Bub. Everyone has their own stories about bad pipes, all I can say is: at the shop, we've had maybe 3 V&H complaints, 1 Bub complaint and dozens of Samson complaints.

I had BR's back in '04-'06, sold that sled.

Liked their products so much I put V&H on my UC as well.

Great exhaust systems.....

I agree with some others here, the BR's are kinda "played out" by now....

(No offense intended to those runnin' with them today)

Agreed the Samson fishtails do look the best of all the fishtails out there.
However if you go with any other pipe setup I like V&H.

The answer is there is no answer. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. We all like to "customize" our rides and V&H is reputable but a dime a dozen maybe because they are good? If you are going to do the full tune then I would try something different.

I wanted to use my fuelpak so had to go with a popular brand (Rinehart) that was already mapped and had numbers to punch into the fuelpak. I have to admit, the Samsons sound really good...but sound is subjective too!!
