With the exception of one bike I had in the 70's that was my only transportation for 3 years, all of my motorcycles have been toys. Most of my cars have also been toys (Or race cars). I love my toys and ride them 4 or more days a week on average, year around.
Could I live without my motorcycles? Yes. Would I want to? NO!

It's enjoyable transportation, so I guess that means both. I have a car, but I literally hate driving it unless the kids are in the back, and only do so when I must. Once they are old enough to ride, I'll take the car even less.

Hard call. We only have one car, so when the wife goes somewhere and I need to, too, then I guess it's transportation. When the wife's here and I choose to go somewhere on my bike, then I guess it's a toy.

Mine is both. I ride to work everyday and ride on the weekends too. I do about 15,000 miles a year on my bike. I have a truck but it sits most of the time. I drive a truck all day at work so the last thing I want to do when Im off is get back behind the wheel.
