cruise control...

Wish like hell Bertha had it. I've looked at adding it, but the only aftermarket kit I could find is really expensive... plus you have to buy the Harley CC module, too. $$$$
I use one of those plastic palm rest things on the right grip. It works well to allow my right hand to rest on long trips, but of course it doesn't control my speed on the highway. I don't even want a throttle lock... too dangerous!

I have a throttle lock style cruise control. It works really well, it un- locks with the front brake or by pushing a button, It also looks really cool, Check it out.

You can add Factory style cruise to almost any bike. There are two systems available.
One system you have to buy parts of it from HD, The other, comes complete. Both run in the 6-700 range for price. The first one shows a box on the left rear area, the second is totally hidden other than the handlebar controls.
here are the two sites.
http://www.cruisemount.com/ 446.00 + 380.00 at HD total $836.00 and it leaves a box showing.
http://www.customizedcycles.com/softail_cruise/ 749.00 Or 799.00 (on Deluxe models) Kit is complete with all parts, including hand controls. Nothing shows on the bike.
