I have a built in rev limiter... Grandma just starts yelling slow down,
if I dont back off she usually smacks my side..
.. Dont know what comes next, never went there..

Redline, whats that, I usually just wait until the rev limiter kicks in and know its time to shift.

It's a high torque, low revving motor! All you're doing at 4000 and above is making noise ans burning gas!

On a stock motor, yes....built motor, not necessarily....depends on what mods, intake, exhaust, headwork, cam profile, etc., as to what revs the HP and TQ peak at. Ever been to the dragstrip?
