I have a built in rev limiter... Grandma just starts yelling slow down, if I dont back off she usually smacks my side.... Dont know what comes next, never went there...

Redline, whats that, I usually just wait until the rev limiter kicks in and know its time to shift.

as close as I can get, no tach. Most rides that way too.

It's a high torque, low revving motor! All you're doing at 4000 and above is making noise ans burning gas!

On a stock motor, yes....built motor, not necessarily....depends on what mods, intake, exhaust, headwork, cam profile, etc., as to what revs the HP and TQ peak at. Ever been to the dragstrip?

Sometimes when I go crazy I'll wind it out clear to 3K!!
