Default 5K Redline

I just walked out and checked my 09 Ultra'r redline and it is 5K. I think I have had it up to 2K already, and it scared me.

My 05 RK redlines at 6200 w/stage 1 kit. I try to shift before 6000 when gettin on it as it starts to lose a little torque up there.

Never even consider riding by RPM, if you know your bike you know when to shift or back off just by feel or sound. Plus, if I'm looking down at the tach at that kind of speed or acceleration I may be looking the wrong place.

Ummmmm, sometimes I feel like riding it in the rev limiter bump-shift-rev limiter bump-shift mode, and sometimes I feel like just cruising. But Sporties like the higher RPM's more than the "BT's".

Ya'll are missing out on some super fun!

When horseplaying, I try to shift as close to my rev limit as possible (6200).
I don't horseplay on every ride and often go many rides without play.
But it is fun, when I do.
They're wicked fast when you run em up there....well, maybe not.
