I can't imagine what watching my wife die because of my lack of attention would make me do. Gives me the chills just to think about it. Sorry to hear your story. That sucks in the worst way.

Please pass on to your group our heart felt condolences, and that their families are in our prayers. I am sure that this tragic loss affected more than just the husband.
God forbid if they had young children who will now be without the love of their mother.

Don't wonder that. This may sound harsh, but I think if the guy didn't see 4 brake lights and a stopped car, a little flashing tailight wouldn't have made a differenance. I just don't want you blaming yourself over this at all. And I am not trying to be critical of the rider, we have all zoned out on the road looking at stuff at some point or other, just that 99% of the time there is nothing there to hit.

Condolences to the rider and thoughts and prayers sent to him, his family, and you.

Know the area well, used to ride the desert races out there. Sad sad because of a spilt second of inattention. Don't like the pack thing

I second your comment. It is one thing to take a dive yourself but to go through this. I cant even imagine.
