Heres my bike yesterday just off the side of the road in Los Angeles. Weather was spectacular for sure. Would not live anywhere else but Southern California.
Also on New Years Day, you could see Catalina Island from my backyard.

Hmmm well no denying that California has some great weather and interesting sites...
But the state itself is near bankruptcy, you can't buy ammunition without, for all intensive purposes, giving up your life's history, gun ownership and purchase is getting worse all the time, there is a central commune of people who have little if any concept of common sense and how the real world has to live...but are constantly using their influence to let people know how they view things, including at least 2 cable films on the "wonder that is Obama" (that would be Hollywood). Oh and one more word here....Pelosi.
Maybe throw a chain-link fence around the state lines and call the whole place Disneyland.
Okay....guess I am a d*ck. But I do have to agree with the poster who said it would be a lot better place if they got rid of the transplants...you are right...but don't send them here!

Have politicians found a solution to Cali's growing water shortage? In a recent interview I saw, Schwarzenator says the problem is reaching crisis level.

don't forget the two hundred seventy per cent penalty assessment (tax) on any court fines, even little infractions, not to mention the approximately ten other fees they tack on.

Stationed at Ft Ord back in the early 80's, loved the area, beautiful state for sure, but its full of Commies and ****'s. I hope you guys go broke and declare bankrupcy because you are a bankrupt socialist society. Stay there and clean up your own mess. Commie bastards. To the rest of you all Florida sucks so dont come here.

politicians never solve anything. The only thing politicians ever do is ask for (sorry, demand) more money, and money doesn't fix much.
No...water is still an issue, but developers are still hell-bent on covering every last bit of open land, people still don't bother easing up on their use...
it's absolutely gorgeous here 80% of the year, but like I said earlier...the people, the government, etc...
I catch myself wishing swine flu was a genuine threat and would settle here in CA and somehow affect politicians even more than the GP.
highest sales tax, highest state income tax, highest gas tax...tax tax tax tax TAX and yet...BANKRUPT.
but it sure is purdy!
