This is double BS because as I understand it, last year the state gave IOUs to folks it owed income tax refunds to instead of money. My wife and I miss California, because we're from there, but Scottsdale, Cave Creek, AZ have been really good to us. Our 2 kids were born here so we"re staying.

I lived there and Hawaii, not enough warm weather or hotties for me to move back.
Really, I enjoy having four seasons of weather each year.

altho i live a few hundred miles north of ya, i totally agree, this place rocks.

been out here for close to 10 years now & love it, actually considering a move down that way to Topanga in the future

people come here literally from all over the world to ride the PCH for good reason

Yesterday we had a high of 13 and windchill put at it around -7. I went snowboarding and with 4 layers on I still got cold after 2 hrs.

SoCal aint for everyone that's for sure. Most can't handle it. I get tired of it once in awhile, but a ride like the one yesterday makes it all go away. The sun and the bikes were out at Neptune's Net and Rock Store.

Any marooon can ride around in that kind of weather. Takes some real nads to ride around my state right now. KCMO -3F
