Not trying to be a d*ck...

True... true. Don't get me wrong, I love it and you have not made one wrong statement yet. I just feel too restricted and forcefully guided by our fearful, special interest group funded "leaders" out here sometimes. Is it worth it? In my opinion, yes, 95% of the time. The weather, views, endless activities and hotties are why I'll stay forever. When I get bored at home, my wife always says "Imagine if you lived in Podunk, you would kill yourself!"
there's just too many cops i mean tax collectors here
the thing about fearful, special interest...dude...that's the federal government to a T anyway

That's the main reason CA is not on my list to relocate, to there are a few others, but the gun laws make me crazy. I just don't understand why they don't allow municipalities to pass laws that affect them instead of the whole state. New York does it that way there is a big difference from upstate NY and downstate NY. CA seems to govern on the whole state, I know there is a difference between Northern and Southern CA.

I grew up down there, it's just to many people in to small of a place. Back in the 60's before any air regs it's a wonder we did'nt die from breathing that chit

We took a ride up to Lake Henshaw yesterday. It's at 3000 feet, so when we got up there it was leather time. Kinda chilly at 54 deg.But a beautiful day none the less, Socialist and all.

I lived in California and loved everything you're talking about, but left in 1999 and never looked back. Crap like this drove me away..."Starting Sunday, cash-strapped California will dig deeper into the pocketbooks of wage earners -- holding back 10% more than it already does in state income taxes just as the biggest shopping season of the year kicks into gear....Think of it as a forced, interest-free loan: You'll be repaid any extra withholding in April. Those who would receive a refund anyway will receive a larger one, and those who owe taxes will owe less."
This is double BS because as I understand it, last year the state gave IOUs to folks it owed income tax refunds to instead of money. If those bastards in Sacramento can reach into your pocket, take your money and then confiscate your guns then you're nothing more than a glorified subject. No thanks, I don't care how nice it is.

Lucky Guy. So you gave your wife something to bitch about. Now she can be happy too. Do you know why guys die first? Because they want to. They wonder why we ride like we do! The last time I was able to ride was December 1. Most likely will not be able to ride for a long while yet. Put on the sunscreen and ride it like you stole it.
