What would you want to see at a poker run???

I was speaking about WIIL which is out of Kenosha, but I used to listen to the show you're referring to as well. You probably don't get 95.1 down in your neck of the woods. I think the bottom line is, if you can get radio sponsorship for free, that's probably you're best bet, you're almost guaranteed a great turnout.

The last poker run I did was in Sebring Fla. a while ago and they did all the stops in State parks, Not being from that area I really enjoyed visiting all those parks that I never would have got to see otherwise. The general consensus with the crowd seemed to be really positive about not bar hopping all day even though I will have to admit that we got sidetracked once or twice. Good luck with your Run....

You might want to get St Jude involved. Do they have businesses in the area that can be stops? We've done firehouse runs. They were always fun. Some even got the water out to cool us off!
Make if fun. Make people do something at the stops. Find the St. Jude emblem under a rock, then you get your card. Look for the blue star in X building, then you get your card. Answer a motorcycle question, then you get your next card...etc.
And have a hot chick at each of the stops to hand out the card, or clues...etc!
You can do a mystery run too. Give the first clue as where to go, get your next clue at next stop! That's fun.
Want more money? Go to a motorcycle shop and ask if they will donate a $100 gift certificate. Then at each stop, for a dollar, the person gets a ticket - by the end of the run they can have one or five chances to win the gift certificate. Of course...hot chick dispenses tickets!!

That would be cool! I did one like that as a kid where you started with a clue, and at each stop you got a new clue as to what the next stop was. The only problem, is that if it takes awhile to figure out a clue, then you are done!

I really like the idea about a ticket for $1 at each stop for a chance to win a gift certificate. More tickets = better chance of winning. More tickets sold = more $ for the charity. See, no matter what anyone says, I am a smart guy who can do simple math HAHAHA
