Seen this and other articles on it several times.
The ones that didn't use the savage filter I've read say there are 4-6 ozs left in the engine that mixes with new oil.
The one the did use the savage puck claim theres 28-32oz of dirty oil left...????
Its A little confusing and one is left confused on this one...

I was going to make my own puck too but hadn't got around to it nor I figured out how to do it. Don't know if I ever will but thanks for sharing your solution.
Certainly if one has the time getting all the old oil out is better than leaving it in there. duh right?. How much extra time doesn't it involve?
