Check your battery out real good.Check the cables etc.Fuel pump will not run too good with bad ground or a slight film on battery cables.Cold weather can cause electrical type troubles with batteries, corrosion on connections and grounds etc. Check the easy things first. Good luck.
+1 I had a battery cable strand me on a short errand two hours after returning from a 150 mile ride. While waiting for a tow to arrive I found the problem. The battery cable would pull right out of the connector it had been crimped into by the factory down at the end that bolts to the starter. It looked fine otherwise and I had not had a problem before. I'd pull the seat off and give them all a slight tug if you haven't already and also make sure none are pinched.
Seems if the battery condition and connections are solid enough to allow starter engagement, the likelihood of it being the cause of a poor running engine is remote.
