Default HD's magazine "The Enthusiast" 1945 Can someone help with this?

I just found out something cool over the Christmas weekend. I was at my dad's house and admiring an issue of Harley's magazine "The Enthusiast" from 1945 that was on one of his many shelves of interesting old stuff. He told me that my grandfather was pictured in one of the issues from 1945 standing next to his knucklehead in his Army uniform. His name was Herbert Schneider. My dad doesn't know which issue it was. He said he thinks my uncle has a copy of it, but my uncle has not been the nicest guy to my dad over the years so I prefer not to deal with him if possible. Does anyone here have any old issues or even know where I could find copies of them on the net? Even if I can't get my hands on the original, I'd just love to have a copy of the page he's on and the cover of the issue so I could frame them. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Here's a picture of my grandpa with his bike in 1946 for reference.

Might check with the Harley museum, they may have some archives that may include what you are looking for.

That was a good idea about the museum. I looked at their website and it took a little hunting to find a contact number. When I called it said they were open but just went to voice mail. We'll see if they get back to me. Can't find any contacts for the magazine's current staff since I don't have an issue. Any HOG members here that could give me that info out of one of their mags?

Not sure who this is, or if it helps. Here's a link to buy a 1945 edition.

Thanks Snarly! I sent a message to the seller to see if he's in that one. Also, thanks threeten for the phone number.

Just located a seller on ebay that has every issue from the beginning of 1944 to August 1950. I don't want to buy the whole set but I asked him if he could tell me which one my grandpa is in. Here's hoping he's a really nice guy and will check for me!
