as i sit here lookign at my "Ralex" submarine watch, i must say knock off's are bad, bad bad. you should always be azzraped by paying for the over priced official items. seriously there shouldnt be any issue paying 3-4 times more then another equally manufactured item simply because it has HD on the tag.
in all honesty theres a few places you can find that will custom make a leather jacket for you for the same price as the dealer charges. granted you might not get the OFFICIAL logo on it but wtf who needs a logo when you got a good quality hand fitted leather jacket

Personally I don't like to patronize businesses that offer knock-offs. To me it just cheapens the real product. Alot of these knock offs are not the same same as the labeled product.
But I do believe Harley is listening I was supprised to see that they are offering more leather that is American Made of Foreign leather. As indicated on their web-site. That I this is very good. That said I hope they are made by Americans not illegal sweat shop labor.

It takes a lot to build a brand, and those who do so should be entitled to benefit from that work and history. People who try to free-ride on that brand by using it without permission or without paying royalties are thieves, plain and simple.
