I bought the short HD windshield. It really doesn't look too bad on a Fatboy, not as bad as I thought it would. I certainly prefer the look w/o it, but boy does it do the job. On any ride an hour or longer I will use it. And it definitely prolongs the riding season when it gets cold. I'm not sure anything much shorter would get the job done.

The quick detach works for me. It comes off in a second so I don’t have it on much but it sure helps on long and cold rides.

Bags look good as well,I thought bags and screen on a fatty don't go but i'm starting to change my mind on that one.

A Fat Boy ain't nothing but a resto-HydraGlide. That is what Willie G. copied the design from. Nothing new. A beaded HydraGlide style "screen" looks bitchin to me on a Fat Boy.
