Default New light bar on bat wing

Does anyone know where to find a fuse for the wiring harness on the light bar harley sells. The harness has 3 fuses and they are a odd size. Harley said try Radio Shak. No luck yet finding one. Installed new light bar this weekend and right turn on bar would not flash. Almost drove me crazy trying to figure out. Thought I had assembled harness wrong. Never thought to check for blown fuse since light would come on but not flash.

One would thunk that if its a HD kit, that they would have some fuses.....
I don't know what it look like or what kind it is....
So might be good to do a google search and see if one pops up...

What light bar is it, or pn#?

Are you talking about the Illuminated LED Windshield Molding Kit 57335-08?

If so, that is the worst damn thing to get hooked up and get working right. In any event, there are 3 fuses on that wiring harness and HD sells them, they are pn#56880-06

Yes, that is the part number that I installed. Your right about being a pain. I read those instructions many time before in began building harness. I was unsure about doing it but it all worked ok untill I turned on my key and saw that that one side was not working. I am now an expert on removing and installing batwing. I will have to remove it somwhat to install fuse. Thanks for the part number of fuse. I only hope that both dealers I drove to on Sat. stock the fuse, so I can rub mud in their face. How did you come up with fuse part number?

Doing a kit breakdown of the harness in the kit reveals the pn#. Both dealers you went to could've done the same.

If you're from MI the only dealer in MI as showing having that fuse is:

Mississippi
Chunky River Harley-Davidson Meridian P-(601) 482-4131

I thought the directions for the install were one of the better ones from HD. The connections were fairly easy to do, but than again I work on aircraft simulators. Hopefully I never blow a fuse, because it would be a pain to remove the fairing in order to replace them.

I had one of those critters go bad about 3 months ago. I tried every place you can think of for the fuse. Radio Shack all the auto parts stores even radio shops. No one could match it. just get it from Harley and save yourself the time.
